Last year, the LEGO Foundation awarded grants of more than $440 million
to help children reach their full potential through play.
The pilot project will contribute to the comprehensive development of more than 12 thousand girls and boys initially in Caquetá, strengthening the capacities of educators, leaders and decision makers to promote learning through play.
"Río, Juego y Aprendo" is aimed at boys and girls from pregnancy to eight years old and is implemented by civil society organizations in conjunction with the National Government, and under the auspices of the LEGO Foundation.
The LEGO Foundation partners with the LEGO Group and more than 50 organizations around the world to provide millions of vulnerable children
